Commission on Higher Education

Three (3) Region 1 higher education institutions have secured seats to compete for this year’s champions of internationalization at the upcoming Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability Awards (ICONS Awards) 2024.

The following R1 HEIs were able to make it as finalists for ICONS Awards 2024:

𝘌𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥

Furthermore, 12 internationally ranked higher education institutions from the region will be recognized for their outstanding performance in various international ranking bodies, such as the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) and Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (THE IR).

The following HEIs will take the stage to receive their awards:

CHEDRO1 is also competing for this year’s Best Regional Office for Internationalization Award.

The ICONS Awards 2024 is scheduled in November to announce this year’s winners.
